What to expect at your first visit:
Because you are the expert in your own life, I will take considerable time listening to your concerns, challenges, and goals at our initial session. We will also spend some time getting to know one another.  Once you’ve specified what you’d like to accomplish in therapy, I will make some recommendations regarding approaches that may aid in reducing your symptoms and facilitating healing. We will also discuss a possible time frame for your therapy.

When you return for your follow-up session, we will begin treatment. I always remind my clients that this is your therapy- not mine, so I will be looking for your feedback and will work to make adjustments if you prefer a different approach or direction.

Due to the efficacy of the tools I use, my clients often see considerable improvement in 4-8 sessions, but more complex cases may take longer. As a solution-focused therapist, it’s always my goal to work myself out of a job and get you feeling better as soon as possible. In addition to mental health, I also provide coaching for career and life changes, woman’s issues, and overall wellness and quality of life.
